knapplc
Nice post! Would be nice to see an average ticket price next to the figures too - anyone have any info on that? Alabama/Ohio might be beating us with the highest number of fans in the seats, but if I recall correctly, Alabama had free admission... I could have sworn that Nebraska was the only university to charge for the spring game last year. I'm pretty sure at least one other charged. I'm thinking Ohio State or Alabama, and IIRC it was $2 or $5. Quote Link to comment
Enhance
Oops! No, that was a "capacity" I took from... some website. Forget which. I edited the stats. They're as accurate as Wikipedia now. Isn't that an oxymoron? Quote Link to comment

I would never use Wikipedia for anything like a school paper, but it's a decent starting point if you're looking for info on a topic, or for something like a casual conversation on the web. killer cacti
How much do tickets cost for the spring game this year? $10 Really? The Orange-White game is free. Quote Link to comment
caveman99
How much do tickets cost for the spring game this year? $10 Really? The Orange-White game is free. Pretty sure money goes to a charity, or at least a portion. I thought that was the case last year anyway. Quote Link to comment

Within about ten years ago the Red White game was free, too. Then they started a free admission with a can of food donation at the door, and it just grew from there. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
No word on whether a charity is involved this year. The Huskers.com article on the game doesn't mention anything. Quote Link to comment

Landlord
Off-topic: wikipedia itself is dangerous to source, but if the article you're looking at has sources, then those sources are legitimate, thus, more often than not, wikipedia is also legitimate (just not as a source ). frazier9495
FWIW I am in full support of charging $10 for a ticket. It is not going to be the difference on whether I go or not. It raises a lot of money whether it be for charity or for the University. The $10 I give them will go to better use with them than it would if it stays with me Quote Link to comment
