NshawU
I would be shocked if he was back by Washington, but it does sound like it might not be a season ender which is great news. Quote Link to comment
dixie normous
Reporter: "what is Will Compton's injury specifically"? Bo: "I don't get into that. It's his foot." Bo rules Reporters have to hate asking some questions to Bo. Hes blunt is it just me, or does anyone else think BO needs to be nicer to the reporters? (insert "insert sarcasm here" icon here) could YOU be nice to JJ Davis?? I know I couldn't Quote Link to comment

HuskerNMO
Heard that it was a similar injury as Burkhead had last year, just not quite as severe. I would guess he's back for the Texas game. Quote Link to comment
RockyMountainOySker
Pelini said he'll be out 6 to 8 weeks. That puts him back on the field just before the Oklahoma State game at the earliest. Quote Link to comment

typ3kal
Heard that it was a similar injury as Burkhead had last year, just not quite as severe. I would guess he's back for the Texas game. Confirmed through the Daily Nebraskan's article today about Whaley. Compton has a broken foot. "Alonzo Whaley didn't know what to think during the drive home. In the car was Will Compton, his friend and roomate, but also his competition at linebacker. It was after practice Thursday, and Compton had just broken his foot an injury that Whaley knew would likely vault him into the starting lineup. "I don't even know how to feel right now," Whaley said. Compton turned to him and said, "Honestly, you don't have time to have feelings or emotions right now. We need you to step up and be somebody you haven't been the last couple of years." And yes, he is in a cast at the moment-- saw him this morning by the Hewitt. Quote Link to comment

I heard 4 to 5 weeks. If it's after the tu game, might as well sit out and get a medical hardship. Quote Link to comment
