blackshirtsftw
Great Read from the OWH ... Always loved the attitude from Wistrom and Co. back in the day -- think we are starting to get that culture back now ... http://omaha.com/article/20101014/BIGRED/710149724/-1#ex-huskers-pull-no-punches Quote Link to comment
ESPY
Today the Huskers congregate at a Lincoln hotel and begin final preparations. A long, long line of ex-players competes vicariously through them. Maybe no one more than Wistrom, who was there when the Texas hex began. Wistrom wishes he were in the team room tonight just as he wishes he wouldve kept his eyes on James Brown on fourth-and-inches in 1996. If he had the chance to address the Huskers tonight, Wistrom said adrenaline would take over his body. His voice would rise and the words would pour out like bad memories. What would you say, Grant? Very little that you could put in the paper. Methinks this is gonna happen anyway either via Bo's pregame pep talk or one of our captains. If we, the fans, along with all those ex-players are so pissed off and ready for revenge, I can only imagine our boys are equally ticked and pumped to rip those Horns to shreds tomorrow. Btw, great idea by Chatelain to go to those ex-Huskers for this article. As if we didn't have enough fire in our bellies, I'm even more psyched now that we know exactly how those Husker great feel about Texas Quote Link to comment
