macroboy
Since you played almost 1/2 the game I'm sure someone will find a way to blame the loss on you but..... You came in with some poise and moved the ball when T-magic tinkled down his leg. 4th and 18 and you threw a TD.....oh, wait, should've been a TD. Apparently when people drop passes and the line isn't able to open truck sized running holes T-magic is T-freshman. And I thought everything last year was your fault. Who knew? 1 Quote Link to comment
Landlord
It's Zac, but I agree entirely. I thought, and hoped, we would need him to rescue us at least once this season and that came along today, and he did absolutely everything he could have. What a great kid. Quote Link to comment
husk3rf8n
Lee showed a lot of heart. Came in with the chips down and showed that he has kept his head in the game even after losing his starting job. Too bad our WR's have zero hands and even less heart!! 1 Quote Link to comment
skersfan
No need to stir the pot against Zac, he did all he could do last year, and this year. Quote Link to comment
dizzturbedNUfan
Sorry but this is a BS post over somebody still crying for Lee. Taylor put balls in right on the money today and they were dropped just the same way Lee's were. He should have never been pulled. If he is the coaches choice as starting QB then let him ride it out. dustinl15
The only reason we moved the ball when Lee was in was because Texas gave us free yards on penalties. It all came down to our receivers today. 8 dropped passes and 4 could have been touchdowns. It didn't matter which QB was in. 1 Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
Why is he not starting again? What was that about Taylor dissecting great defenses? Quote Link to comment
mjmartin1970
I know I will be in the vast minority because T-Mac is a great athelete. But, I'd rather have Lee. T-Mac imho needs some time to get used to the speed of the "real" college game first. PS - I DO NOT blame this loss on Martinez. This was a truly TEAM loss (ok I blame the WR's and one in particular more, but that does no good). I just think Martinez needs some more seasoning. He will BE GREAT. Quote Link to comment
Hercules
Hey, you know why we lost this game? Dropped passes. You know what didn't matter? Which QB was throwing those passes. Each player had sure touchdowns that were dropped. Quote Link to comment
redout22
I dont mean to hate on him but the only reason the drive went anywhere was because of two Texas penalties for 30 yards... He had some nice reads and a couple nice throws but he needs to stop starring recievers down so regularly Quote Link to comment
GI56
Lee actually read the zone read better than T-Magic. Quote Link to comment
HuskerGBR
Lee looked good out there. That is one of the few good things I can say about today. I still hate you Texas. Quote Link to comment
NASA
Agreed, top end performance from Lee. He gained a ton of respect from me today. Quote Link to comment
Chomper
I dont think that pulling t-mart was a good move at all. Who do you want to lead the season? I hope he transfers... Quote Link to comment
