Zac played a good second half when we needed him too. The pass to Kyler on 3rd and 2 was a huge play nice to know we have depth and if someone goes down we can still be ok.

Major props to Z. Lee. Kid couldve tanked it this year after being told he was no longer the starter, but he kept his head up & kept working hard to do whats best for the team. Great character.

I still say he was not 100% healthy at the time of Washington, Kstate etc. His lack of playing time early in the year in blowouts but now twice in 3 weeks in very important situations cant be explained otherwise to me.

Zac Lee's a good dude. He's been mature about getting played (or not played) behind Martinez and he comes in and is able to run the offense in the absence of our starter. Big thanks to Zac.

Zack took a lot of heat on this board last year, but I got to say that he has handled the back-up role with absolute class. And, I am thrilled to have him there to come in when something happens to Martinez.

 

In a way he has kinda reminded me of Beringer a little.

I wouldn't say say he made no mistakes (he almost threw a pick), but having him with his senior mojo ready to come in for Tmart is a very good thing. I have the utmost confidence in him, and we can still win games when he's playing.

Kudos to Zach. Having an experienced senior QB that can come in and manage things is a huge benefit.

I don't have a way to know but I bet the guys in the huddle have a lot of respect for him.

Sure, he is not even close to the athelete that Martinez is. But, he is a senior, and he does have experience so it's not like having to run some kid (or Green) out there. I'm just saying, he has handled the situation with class and I'm glad to have him there on the depth chart.

Is a bad throw the same thing as a mistake? Not saying it is or isn't, I don't think it is, but I could see how someone might think so.
