It'sNotAFakeID
Potentially, yes. The two options given by Pelini indicate that they are gone from the program. He just didn't indicate wether they resigned, or if they were fired. Praise the Lord! Quote Link to comment
IHateBobCostas
Seems a little anticlimatic since this place has been in crazy mode ever since...forever. My reaction is not really a reaction. Quote Link to comment
kchusker_chris
Beck has never coached QBs, Brown has never coached RBs, Fisher hasn't coached much of anything. If nothing else we'll be getting some new things out of them. I'm curious why Brown didn't take over WR/TE like prior, and Fisher RBs. Maybe Fisher was more comfortable with WRs? Lyons in the Sea of Red.
I have a not good feeling about this whole thing. 1 Quote Link to comment

I can't imagine Gilmore was already on his way out, and Fisher possibly in at that point. Then again - we were all calling for Gilmore's head after the Texas game 10/16 so maybe Fisher knew something we didn't. Kind of a stretch though. Quote Link to comment
ADS
Weird, Ron Brown to coach RB's. A position he has never coached. But, his WR's always seem to play physical. Quote Link to comment
Husker_N_TX
Well we wanted something new on offense. We're getting it.. Whats that old saying? Be careful what u wish for? Just sayin. Personally, I'm excited. Can't wait to see what it looks like in a couple years. 1 Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Not a doubt in my mind that Ron Brown can coach the heck out of those RB's. My evidence? It's Ron Brown. 5 Quote Link to comment
The Dude
So... who has the TEs? Quote Link to comment
Vuren
So... who has the TEs? cotton? Quote Link to comment
mitch7
So... who has the TEs? I was also wondering that. Maybe they will still be working with Brown and possibly a mix of the offensive line staff. That way they develop into more physical blockers who can still run routes. Quote Link to comment
TheCheshireCat
I wonder if a possible reason for Brown to coach RBs is his recruiting ability. We won't be getting many high profile receivers no matter how good he is, because of the type of QBs we have and the offense we run. But since we are moving toward a run-heavy system, why not get a guy who recruits well and coaches well at that position? Quote Link to comment
ADS
Tim Beck seemed to recruit RB's really well for us. I dont see Ron Brown being any worse than Beck at bringing in talent. Quote Link to comment
