DJR313
My brother in law is convinced that NU will crack in at 24 or 25, and why not? A bunch of teams in the lower half of the poll lost on saturday. I would rather see the Huskers not be ranked going into the TT game, that way maybe they play with a chip on their shoulder and knock the snot out of the Red Raiders for getting no respect from pollsters. hack
i don't see that happening. and to be honest, i'd rather nebraska not be ranked yet. i want to see more. more games. more execution. more upsets. more broken bodies of our enemies at our feet. more laments of their womenfolk to be carried on the as wind. the cries of their childern fill the air like... ... what? want more? is that a crime? DaveH
I could give a sh#t if we are ranked at this point. Let's concern ourselves with our record in the Big XII north at this point. Besides, this year has been atrocious for ranking. Sportswriters are dumb. Quote Link to comment
BigRedJake
I agree with Dave and DJR...but goddamn I love to see those little numbers in front of our name. Quote Link to comment

KansasHusker
you could say that we are now #26 and #27 ranked in the nation...with this win over ranked isu placing us right out of the top 25, if we beat texas tech it would really shoot us into the rankings... Polls Quote Link to comment
BigRedJake
Awesome, that's a nice middleground. Quote Link to comment
Huskerfan66
I think is the best possible ranking for us now...I really didn't want to be ranked for the TT game-now the Huskers know that they still have a lot to prove just to be respected. If we get a big win and a legitamite upset next week, then I would be happy to see us ranked. Quote Link to comment

No need to be ranked at the moment untill our team proves we can continue playing at this level of competition. Yesterday was a sign that both the offense and defense were playing with signs of life and showed a pulse Quote Link to comment
formerfan
Probably right were NU should be right now. If NU beats Tech, then they deserve a top 20 ranking, IMO. Quote Link to comment
Roy CO HSKR
I bel;ieve that CU is the toughest team on the schedule, perhaps even over OU! That last game in Boulder may be for the North title. If we lose to OU and CU loses to UT, we'll be neck and neck! Quote Link to comment
