Scarlet Overkill
He never came back after he was injured - does anyone know what the injury was? Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
I heard ankle injury and it was "heavily" wrapped/taped Quote Link to comment
jsneb83
He got hurt on his one kickoff return where he almost went the distance. Looked like an ankle, not sure how severe, though. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
OWH has a real good picture of the that tackle. It looks like his right ankle was bent outwards. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt316
Looked bad but at least he stayed suited up and there was talk of maybe letting him go back in. Hopefully not too bad. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
I was able to save the image on my computer but I'm a little concerned about posting it. Mods? Can/Should I? Quote Link to comment
redout22
Go for it sir Quote Link to comment
BigRedWeatherman
I would guess it's just a moderate-bad sprain. There's no need to bring him back in to return kicks when he can't go full speed, especially when we have Burkhead and Turner. Let him heal so he can bust another big one when/if we really need it! Hercules
Pelini said he could have gone back in, but they have other guys that can return kicks so they let him rest. Quote Link to comment
irafreak
Serves him right for getting caught. I blame poor conditioning. He got caught last week too but was lucky enough the defender rolled him into the endzone Edit: I should probably point out for the sarcastically illiterate that I'm not at all serious about that first sentence... Haspula
It seems like only our good players get injured. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Pelini said he could have gone back in To be fair, Bo would say this even if his entire leg was ripped off. 2 Quote Link to comment
Nebula
You guys thought it happened on the tackle? I haven't watched a TV replay, so those of you who weren't at the game had a better view of what happened. But I thought something happened as he was breaking into the open, and that's why he got caught from behind. I thought he had a fluke muscle strain or something that slowed him down as he started sprinting for daylight. Quote Link to comment

When I saw the replay, it look like when he finally broke free of the group and was in the clear, he slowed down quite a bit which allowed this guy to catch up to him. Quote Link to comment
