knapplc
We dropped to #15 in the Coaches Poll, 14th in the AP. I'm pleasantly surprised it wasn't worse. Both Polls Wiscy is now #4 in the AP, #5 in the Coaches. Sagarin has Wiscy at #3, Nebraska at #15, and says that we've played the #38 schedule in the nation so far. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
I believe it should have been. The only reason he are where we are now is because of preseason polls. Quote Link to comment
NUance
I believe it should have been. The only reason he are where we are now is because of preseason polls. That, and timely losses by South Carolina, Fla and Va Tech cushioned our fall. Quote Link to comment
308_Husker
This is where I envisioned us falling. Though, it would not have surprised me if we had fallen to #18, or so. We'll get them in the CCG! Quote Link to comment
roundegotrip
You could maybe drop us a few more spots, but as bad as things went in the last 35 minutes of last night's game, this team has played a relatively strong schedule (according to Sagarin) and is carrying a single loss to the now #4 team in the country, so 14 doesn't seem too out of line to me. Husker66
meh, the way we lost those last 35 minutes makes me wonder if 15 isnt too high, but then again, if we would have stayed with the Q1 gameplan, we might have covered the spread...i dont know that we would have won, but think we would have covered...id been happy with that. Scarlet Overkill
I expected 17-18 range. Quote Link to comment
Igetbored216
We are not a top 15 team. The only real good opponent the Huskers have faced resulted in a blowout. The other wins against okay teams were full of mistakes and inconsistencies. Huskers are probably in the 20-25 range. Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
That and the fact that we played on the road, against a highly underrated Wisconsin team. We dropped 11 spots when we lost to an unranked Texas team AT HOME last year. We weren't going to drop 11 for this. Quote Link to comment
BlueInTheFace
I cannot believe Michigan is #12. Way, WAY too high. I'd still rank Nebraska ahead of them as this point, despite what happened this past weekend. Quote Link to comment
Badger_HB
I really hope that 1 vote for Ohio State came from Fickell... 1 Quote Link to comment
