DJR313
scout now lists him as a commit! good to know its official... That's for sure! Welcome aboard Kenny! How many years of eligibility does he have left? Hopefully, Toddrick will committ as well. Link to comment
KansasHusker
I think he has 2 playing years left... Link to comment
Husker19941995
Kenny Wilson, is 6'0-6'1 215lbs and has a best 100m time of 10.2. If you were Marlon Lucky, how would you take this with Coach Callahan bringing in one of the top ( if not the top JC RB) in the nation. And like was mentioned Kenny has three years to play two. Well, I don't have a roster in front of me, but I can bet that Lucky will still see a lot of playing time. Everyone needs a back-up, especially a compitent one that can get the job done. Always good to have a fresh horse in the stable. Link to comment
formerfan
With Lucky, Jackson, and Glenn, would not NU have been better served getting a Frosh of a guy who is gonna be a jr???? Like Cobb, possibly? Link to comment
BigWillie
I think it's up in the air whether Brandon Jackson will keep developing from his promising freshman season after his shoulder surgery. He certainly looks nowhere close to the same player. Glenn may move to the FB position, who truely knows about him? Fact is though, even if all these guys stay at RB, you can NEVER have enough RB's. texhusker
I think we could use this guy with his size and speed he ran a 10.2 in the 100, he also ran a school best 200 in 20.2 seconds they guy is just a blazer. Link to comment
KansasHusker
how nice it would be to have lucky and glenn in the backfield at all times...being that if glenn did move to fullback... Link to comment
nu4everfan15
does glenn have good hands??? i really cant remember him makin any catches so far this season Link to comment
DJR313
I read that his coach sees Kenny Wilson being a fullback at the next level. Who knows what plans they have for him. It won't hurt having another capable back in the backfield to provide good depth. We lose Ross after this year and hopefully this guy can help fill his shoes. The line is going to have to improve in order for the running game to get going. Link to comment
BigWillie
Also should note that Kenny is a 'soft' commit. I'm guessing since he is, he is still taking the visit to Florida, correct? Link to comment
kramer
We might get one good year out of this guy. I believe this to be a wasted scholarship. He won't even be here until the summer, hence missing all of spring ball. He will be way behind the other backs. Link to comment
