caveman99
Why would they offer a FB with a limited number of scholarships and Marrow already set to take a spot next year? Are they looking at Powell at LB instead? Quote Link to comment
SECHusker
Why would they offer a FB with a limited number of scholarships and Marrow already set to take a spot next year? Are they looking at Powell at LB instead? Just a hunch, we may not take another TE and need an additional blocker for this class. Besides Legate is leaving after this year, and we will need some depth at FB. Quote Link to comment

caveman99
I don't know, CJ Zimmerer is a So. and Marrow is also a So. I just don't think this is the class to take a FB, especially since finding a walk on FB is not unusual. Quote Link to comment
GoBigRed66
Maybe its to help convince Mr. Lawler to come to Nebraska and not ASU, being that they wouldnt know anybody and it is pretty far back to SoCal. Quote Link to comment
flatwaterfan
I am guessing this is not just a FB but is also a possible H-BACK. Someone who can replace Legate or Thomsen. I think they are liking what Thomsen is doing. I know I am. Quote Link to comment
RedDenver
Or Marrow might not end up at FB. Quote Link to comment
caveman99
Meh, nothing against Christian but I don't like taking a FB/H-B in this class. Who is to say that CJ Zimmerer can't play both FB and H-Back like Legate? Heck both Legate and Thomsen are walk ons, I would think they could find another FB in the walk on pool and if need be play Marrow at H-Back. If Marrow is good, that would be a good way to get him on the field since touches are likely to be a challenge with the sudden plethora of talented skill position players. Quote Link to comment
SECHusker
Has some nice moves, I think he would be a nice addition to the class. Quote Link to comment
'SkerNation
Check out #32 on the defensive side of the ball at the 0:42 mark. We need that kind of size in the middle of our D Quote Link to comment
HuskerBenny
6'0", 253 and he runs like that?! Sign him up! Without Burkhead in 2 years, who do we have to pound it into the endzone on the goal line? Marrow only has 1 year of eligibility right? If so, than this guys fills the gap once he's gone. Timing seems perfect to me.... GBR! Quote Link to comment
