huskerauggie
I know it must be a replay at the time of the morning, but was really excited for Dennard, figured I'd post: The guys on the BTN show "The Next Level" have put Dennard #1 on their list of draft eligible defensive players in the Big Ten. We're prolly looking at the first round or two. Great job, Alfonso! Enjoy that signing bonus!!!! :w00t Quote Link to comment
GM_Tood
Did anyone else hear/read that Mel Kiper said he's a late first rounder now after the MSU game? (Not that Kiper's word means much) Quote Link to comment
DaveH
Yea, I heard that on twitter I think. Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
Fonzo is the man! I will miss him so much next year. Hopefully the Lions draft him. If that happens, I will be the biggest Lions fan in the world! Quote Link to comment

Lyons in the Sea of Red.
Late First Rounder? He has shown he can be better than Prince, and imo, he is. Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
He's shown it to us. But last weekend was the first time he made a lot of plays in one game this year. It's sort of like how Suh fell under the radar. People knew who he was but they weren't awed by him. We knew he was great from watching him every game. It just took everyone else longer to find out. He also had a great game to end the regular season. If people keep throwing to Dennard he'll get more attention. Quote Link to comment
BIG ERN
Fonz is a 1st rounder 100%, David is also so underrated just due to his size. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
If he didn't get hurt, Mel Kiper would most likely be taking about him being a top ten pick right now. Quote Link to comment

In regards to David: Yes, he is way undersized to play Linebacker in the NFL. There has to be a spot on a team for a guy with that much talent, skill, and heart. We know he is an NFL caliber player, but what position will he be able to play in the NFL? Quote Link to comment

Blackshirt96
Late First Rounder? He has shown he can be better than Prince, and imo, he is. I agree but Prince is slightly bigger. I think Prince is 6'1" & Alfonzo is 5'10". That 3" could be the difference in how soon he is drafted. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Kudos to Dennard. David has been compared to Demarrio Williams since day one and they are about the same size. Williams is in his 8th year in the NFL. Quote Link to comment
