Nebraska isn't just any Big Ten team, though. We have one of the best parks in college baseball and we've proven on several occasions that we'll pack the house in a Regional. Nebraska isn't just any Big Ten team, though. We have one of the best parks in college baseball and we've proven on several occasions that we'll pack the house in a Regional. The NCAA won't pass up the money simply because we're in the Big Ten now. Yeah this. Plus the NCAA is making an effort to give northern schools a good shot at hosting regionals. In 2010 they made FSU go up to UCONN for the regional when they were seeded higher than UCONN. If Nebraska puts the wins up they will host. Quote Link to comment

And we've, for the record, hosted a regional when we had no business doing so mostly based on our ability to bring fans (and money) into the sport. If we're a Top 20 team and win the Big 10, we'll get a regional or at least a hard look. Quote Link to comment
