HuskerFanChuck
Aye, OH. Most schools typically have one contract for the whole shebang. Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
Chad strikes out. However, with his infield single earlier, he is the first player in the conference to reach 50 hits. Found that interesting considering his recent struggles. Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
Kash grounds to second, Sangi to third. As for the uniforms, with smaller schools you often don't see one outfitter across the sports board for unis. The schools athletic budget dictates that and that makes them look for better deals. PaulCrewe
Stock grounds to third for the final out of the inning. Let Keller have another go. He hasn't really labored in any inning. Quote Link to comment
HuskerFanChuck
Didn't know that, PC. Thanks for the info. I can certainly understand looking for the best deals. Probably also why no names on the back. Probably comes as part of the deal for bigger schools, and becomes a budgetary thing at a place like Creighton. Quote Link to comment
HuskerFanChuck
Keller out there again, for at least a little more. Quote Link to comment
Omaha-Husker
I suppose Creighton basketball makes sense as being the only sport Nike would be interested in. Quote Link to comment

Also you have to understand at all schools, the primary sponser(addidas of course for NU) only provides so much stuff as part of their deal, and the school pays for a lot of things from them. Baseball has more players, so that is uni's, batting gloves, etc, for more athletes than the 12-14 guys on a basketball team. Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
Keller with back to back walks. Seemed like blue pinched him on a couple of those calls that Jon was getting all night and CU just got last inning. Quote Link to comment

huskerhill
Interesting that DE didn't puller keller after 2 straight walks to lead off the inning.. Great double play... should have been called 3rd strike Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
Get the 4-6-3 DP to help Keller. Again had a strikeout on that hitter earlier in the night with that third pitch. Me thinks the strikezone be moving. Grouder to Christensen to get out of the inning and more than likely to end the night for Keller. He topped 100 pitches that inning, and gave the club a VERY VERY STRONG performance tonight. Quote Link to comment
HuskerFanChuck
Nice work on the double-play, then to get the ground out for the third out. 33 double-plays, top twenty in the nation. Quote Link to comment
