What Husker From Kansas said, plus the fact that they get all this free advertising now with this article. Nobody writes a story when us broke-ass message board posters get a freebie. I got a free t-shirt today. Nobody cares, though. I have a buddy that tends to email companies when he smokes/drinks. He once got high and emailed the company zumiez (a clothing/shoe online wholesaler type deal). He went on a rant of how it is ridiculous that athletes get all of the sponsorships, and that he is a college student that is seen by thousands of people everyday on campus, what greater advertising? They agreed and thought that he had a great point, and he now receives monthly shipments of their newest products. Quote Link to comment
