kid nickels
Man just imagine Cowher as our coach. Every kid in the country would want to play for him. Link to comment
kid nickels
I like Mike Leach, think he's a good coach. Might not be a good fit for a traditional, laid-back place like Lincoln. Then again, neither are some of the names on my list, but I'd take the risk. Link to comment
95huskers
in no particular order: Chris Petersen Gus Malzahn Gruden Golden weis he can recruit, would need to hire a very good D coordinator as well harbough is at my niners.. love him there.. would love him here but he is not leaving there... Junior
What evidence is there that Gruden knows anything about college football? Link to comment
The Dude
If Cower or Gruden haven't been persuaded by any NFL owners yet, why would they come to Nebraska? I'd like to see Gruden get a coaching job, any coaching job, just so I don't have to listen to that buffoon* on Monday Night Football. *Before a sh#t storm starts, I say buffoon in reference to his outlandish personality, not his coaching ability. The guy can coach his ass off. Link to comment
95huskers
i dont know if gruden knows anything about CFB but i love his intensity and his coaching ability. Link to comment

huskerfaninbuckeyehell
Gruden, But I doubt he is leaving his Espn Gig. I heard he wanted the tOSU job and was going to bring jay with him. Link to comment
kid nickels
Cowher or Gruden probably wouldn't come, but it sure as hell wouldn't hurt to ask. I'd just tell them to name their price, and pay whatever they want. 10 mill a year? OK, fine. Link to comment
kid nickels
I just hope this new AD is willing to spend $$. Football brings in more revenue than anything else, why not spend it on a great coach?? Link to comment

Blackshirt316
Art Briles Gus Malzahn James Franklin Paul Rhodes 3 candidates that are proven recruiters and have all shown capable of putting a plan in place to lead a program and one who may not be the recruiter the other three are but can still get talent and understands how to run a midwest program. No more coordinators training to be a head coach, get a proven head coach who has won at a smaller program and see what they can do with our resources. Link to comment
