Night Time is the Right Time...

Recommended Posts

Somebody was asking this question in another thread yesterday, but I couldn't find it... Heck, maybe this one is worth its own post...

It turns out the Huskers have won their last 11 night games at Memorial Stadium. I read it on ESPN so it must be true! Keep those big night games coming, B1G!

"The Huskers have won 11 straight night games at Memorial Stadium and are 37-5 under the lights in Lincoln since 1986."

Huskers own the night! Tell em about it, Ray!

I think Nebraska has won 19 of their last 21 at home. is this correct?

Yes! I looked this up. It's actually very impressive in retrospect... How did I not notice this before?

Starting 11/7/09 versus Oklahoma, the Huskers are 19 for 21 at home. They beat 10 out of 12 ranked teams in that span, and beat every unranked team they played.

The only two losses in the last three (calendar) years were to Texass by 7 in 2010, and Northwestern by 3 last year.

This list confuses the crap out of me - is it supposed to be a list of all home games or just night games? Because if the former it's missing some, and if the latter, a lot of those were not night games.

Texas loss in Lincoln wasn't a night game.

The last time we lost in Lincoln at night was 2008 playing Virgina Tech.

That must have been after the 2008 game against Missouri where we lost 52-17 at home at 8:00pm.

I didn't realize that was a night game.
