Haspula
Outclassed Yes, but not outworked. True, too many injures on our team Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Classy move by Izzo to try to quiet the boos for NU calling a late timeout. Quote Link to comment
Hedley Lamarr
Also love the TImeout with 17 seconds left down by 8. Are we gonna win? Hell no, but Miles is going to use every second he has to teach and build this season. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
They end the game on an 11-2 run to make it look worse than it was. Good effort by the 'Skers. Quote Link to comment
tschu
Time to watch Tim Miles on The Journey! Quote Link to comment
flatwaterfan
Good game by Rivers and Shields. Talley also had a good game. Huskers fought. Quote Link to comment
redout22
Ehh could have been a lot worse. If we had a reliable center those second chance points and alley-oops would definitely be limited and would have given us a better chance to win. Oh well on to Purdue! Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Anyone else shocked that Vucetic never saw the court? Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
It was good to see the team fight hard tonight and come really close to getting a huge win on the road. I'm excited to see what the next few years bring with Coach Smiles. I have a feeling we got ourselves one hell of a coach. Quote Link to comment
Hedley Lamarr
Anyone else shocked that Vucetic never saw the court? I really think Miles is saving every single body he can for next season. We also know the kid needs a year of S&C Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
And, they almost knocked off two of the best teams on the road with what they have, so there is no doubt we are going to sneak up and get 4-5 conference wins this year in my mind. I'm also pretty sure Gallegos is gonna get really hot one game and we're gonna beat one of the top teams as well. Quote Link to comment

We also know the kid needs a year of S&C Pretty sure he already burned his redshirt so not quite sure why Miles may be saving him. The kid obviously needs to hit the weights but no more than rivers who is currently playing the 4 depending who's on the court. Atleast Vucetic is 5-6 inches taller. Quote Link to comment

If we get 4 or 5 conference wins this year, the team will have exceeded my expectations. Quote Link to comment

And, I agree he needs to hit the weight room. The one that is playing a lot that really needs to hit the weight room in the off season is Shields. I love watching him play and will be fun watching him develop even more. BUT, physically, he definitely still looks like a HS kid amongst college kids. Miles only played 7 players in this game and two of those fouled out. I am just surprised that someone like him can't come in and give a player here and there a rest and keep them fresh for the run at the end. Quote Link to comment
