C N Red
I dont see him as a D1 QB. Would think they're recruiting him as an athlete. Quote Link to comment

Alright, smart guy--> revised question, I wonder if Mixon knows him well enough that being N could sway Virgil to want to take a hard look at also becoming N? Better? Quote Link to comment
The King
I dont see him as a D1 QB. Would think they're recruiting him as an athlete. Don't know of many sophomores who looked like D1 QBs. Quote Link to comment

Don't know of many sophomores who looked like D1 QBs. +1. I think he could develop into a good duel-threat QB, with a throw first mentality and downfield threat potential. His films shows a lot of promise. Quote Link to comment
nebraskafaninwi
Since he was offered there is obviously things they like about this future prospect. Quote Link to comment
RedRedJarvisRedwine
I love the fact that we are trying to get top QBs with every cycle! I think we've learned that being thin at QB has cost us a few good seasons-'09. Competition breeds greatness! If we develope TA and Johnny, getting top guys to come to NU becomes so much easier. And not just running QBs. Guys with actual pro potential! Get great QB play, the top Olinen will follow! We're already landing the elite RBs. TEs will come too! To sum. Prove you can put QBs in the NFL and the team gets an instant talent upgrade. Lets hope our recent evaluating of QBs has been on point thus far. I love where this offense is going. Now if we only had somebody that knew a little about defense.....I kid I kid. Quote Link to comment

Stumpy1
Committed to Miss St. back in May. Set to graduate here in 16 days and MSU just pulled the offer from him because they are tight on numbers and like the other QB commit better. Pretty sh**ty on Mullen's part. This kid is a baller and is exactly what we need for our offense. Great passer and good enough legs to move the chains if needed. Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Agree. He is a pocket passer who won't burn you with his feet but has enough elusiveness to step away from the pass rush. He looks good with some of the designed QB runs and has some read option on film. 1 Quote Link to comment
CPT Blackshirt
Looks like they are running a better version of our offense in his film... Id say lets give it a go. Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
He looks good, but like any of these films you see highlights not how they react under adversity. I questions why there is no ratings. Quote Link to comment
