Captain's Log: July 7th, 2013

 

Things are getting desperate aboard HuskerBoard. Tensions have reached critical mass. The most mundane posts are causing hysteria. This can only mean severe football deprivation has taken hold. Saunders went off the deep end the other day and threatened to assassinate Lil Red. Today I walked in on knapp crying in the corner, rocking too-and-fro, clutching his autographed picture of Taylor Martinez. I'm afraid if we don't get football soon, someone might get raped and/or murdered and/or stabbed.

 

God help us all.

But I would say at this point your statement is almost a captain obvious thing by now and not even worth debating. In other words, I agree with you, but I don't know anyone that isn't an absolute PPP that doesn't agree.

i dont think it is they feel that goal is too lofty, they just understand the asininity of firing a coach that is producing 9-10 wins a year. you'd think that after seeing what nebraska got after firing their last coach who won 9 games in season, people would be more hesitant about clamoring for a new coach.
