74Hunter
The last time he did that was just before Pud got whacked. Problems in the administration again? Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Probably best to hang tight on this one. Quote Link to comment
NUpolo8
Boy, couple this with the struggle to get tickets sold, this could be a troubling sign. Quote Link to comment
kchusker_chris
Howard Hawks, chairman of the NU Board of Regents and significant donor, had just seen Meyers at the Big Ten baseball tournament in Omaha but wasn't aware Meyers was departing his post until reading about it Wednesday. "New executives get to make new decisions. That's an obvious fact," Hawks said. "Quite frankly, from a personal standpoint, my view would be he will leave a hole that they will not fill with one other person." http://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/prominent-fundraiser-leaves-athletic-department/article_9a03506b-9398-59f9-aa1d-7b2a4af22ed7.html Quote Link to comment
kchusker_chris
...this with his son signed on to play baseball for Nebraska. Kind of an odd time to leave your position. Quote Link to comment

But I wouldn't be shocked if he resurfaced at a XII school or something. Quote Link to comment
Abdullah the Butcher
Lincoln Journal-Star reports that Nebraska associate athletic director Paul Meyers is no longer in his role as chief fundraiser for the athletic department. Also, Ohio University has hired NU's associate athletic director for marketing Michael Stephens as senior athletic director for external operations. For an athletic department that prides itself on continuity, two major high level departures are eyebrow-raising. http://www.cornnation.com/2014/6/4/5779734/nebraska-athletic-department-loses-paul-meyers-and-michael-stephens Quote Link to comment

Abdullah the Butcher
Remember this from February also... Pelini now reporting to new NU administrator Steve Waterfield, who joined the Nebraska athletic department in July as a senior associate athletic director, is now serving as the sports administrator for football, replacing Jamie Williams. http://m.journalstar.com/sports/huskers/football/pelini-now-reporting-to-new-nu-administrator/article_b1bf6bb4-7a45-5d2b-a018-10cfaa7a9250.html?mobile_touch=true Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Steven M. Sipple @HuskerExtraSip 34m Unsure what Pelini will say officially, if anything, but Paul Meyers' resignation is tough news for Pelini. Meyers was a confidant of Bo's. Quote Link to comment

Not sure if the two are related. Quote Link to comment
