Minnesota_husker
I can't decide which way to lean, he is by far the best immediate transfer option that has visited so far. However, if he chooses Nebraska that means no chance for Dickerson or Nwankwo (Just released from his LOI from Minnesota --6-10 Center) as we'd be out of scholarships. UNLESS!!! and this is the biggest (IF) Bull crap idea i can come up with.. but.... Max parents are loaded.. he just wants playing time. He transfers here as a walk on.. and we get dickerson. Max gets guaranteed he sees big time minutes and his parents just pay his tuition. No way it ever happens.. BUT IMAGINE! 1 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
I get the feeling he's leaning Indiana. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Doesn't sound like Dickerson is interested. Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
Doesn't sound like Dickerson is interested. Visiting Texas, Cal and Washington over the next couple of weeks. Not a good sign for us. Quote Link to comment
Huskball
Update: Down to 3. We beat Depaul! Should know either way next week. @JonRothstein 2:29 PM - 22 May 2015 Michigan transfer Max Bielfeldt told @CBSSports he has cut his list to Indiana, Iowa State, and Nebraska. Immediately eligible. #iubb @Justin_Albers 2:51 PM - 22 May 2015 (Indiana reporter) Max Bielfeldt said he will take the weekend before making his decision. First time he will have a chance to discuss it with his mom. Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
Think we lose out to Indiana. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Sources with knowledge of the situation expect the Huskers to get a visit in early June from 7-foot-2, 226-pound center Paschal Chukwu, who is transferring from Providence after one season. Chukwu was a consensus Top 75 player coming out of Fairfield (Connecticut) Prep. As a freshman at Providence, he averaged 2.8 points and 2.5 rebounds in 10 minutes a game. Friars coach Ed Cooley told the Providence Journal Chukwu’s transfer decision “was a total shocker. It blew me completely out of the water.’’ Nebraska has tall competition for the tall Nigerian native. Chukwu is expected to visit Kansas first, with Virginia and other high-major visits possible. He would have to sit one season, then have three years of eligibility. OWH Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
This would be a great get. He would have to sit out a year but then be eligible for 3 years. 7'2 and he has some athleticism. Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Are the ceiling tall enough for this guy? 7 feet + does not come through Nebraska often. Quote Link to comment

Minnesota_husker
Hoiberg will probably end up in Chicago. If that happens, you can take Iowa State off his list most likely. Quote Link to comment
