RedRedJarvisRedwine
Dammit I said 21 in some other watered down tangented(a word?) thread! Quote Link to comment
deedsker
Once you realize who is "ahead" of you, it is hard not to laugh and say watch them fall out by years end. Quote Link to comment
GSG
22. Nebraska: The Cornhuskers haven't exactly taken their new conference by storm, but they hope to be in the mix in the revamped Big Ten West. RB Ameer Abdullah is an elite talent in the Nebraska I-back tradition, though the formation looks a bit different in the modern era. He'll get help from field-stretching WR Kenny Bell if QB Tommy Armstrong can deliver the deep balls. DE Randy Gregory will anchor a solid front, but the back seven must come together. knapplc
Cue three pages of "We should be higher than _____________." and, "We don't get any respect anymore." and "Preseason polls are meaningless." 2 Quote Link to comment
RedRedJarvisRedwine
I think it's interesting to note the absence of Miami and Iowa. Quote Link to comment
3-N-OUT
I think it is actually one of the more accurate polls to come out yet. NU has something to prove before they can move up that board (which I believe they will)!! 1 Quote Link to comment
Saunders
Â We're almost there.... 3 Quote Link to comment
Saunders
Cue three pages of "We should be higher than _____________." and, "We don't get any respect anymore." and "Preseason polls are meaningless." You're missing another 2-3 pages of "lowered expectations" stuff in there. Quote Link to comment
Redux
A&M, Kstate and Ole Miss will all fall below us by week 3. Â Yeah too bad Miami and Iowa arent in there. Miami may never get ranked, Iowa will by conference play whether its warranted or not. Im happy with where we are, makes the climb tbat much sweeter. Quote Link to comment
Redux
And Im sure that 5years in a row, THIS is the year OU earns that lofty preseason ranking. Surely.... Quote Link to comment
QMany
MSU is lower than I expected. Wisconsin is higher than I expected, but I don't mind. Â North Carolina makes me laugh. They went 7-5 and finished 5th in the division. #23. Miami went 9-4, finished 2nd in the division and beat UNC in Chapel Hill. Unranked. Quote Link to comment
Saunders
I'm really surprised that Missouri isn't ranked at all. And Florida being #27 is lols. 1 Quote Link to comment
Junior
Is the Coaches Poll even used for anything at this point?? Quote Link to comment
