22. Nebraska: The Cornhuskers haven't exactly taken their new conference by storm, but they hope to be in the mix in the revamped Big Ten West. RB Ameer Abdullah is an elite talent in the Nebraska I-back tradition, though the formation looks a bit different in the modern era. He'll get help from field-stretching WR Kenny Bell if QB Tommy Armstrong can deliver the deep balls. DE Randy Gregory will anchor a solid front, but the back seven must come together.

A&M, Kstate and Ole Miss will all fall below us by week 3.

Yeah too bad Miami and Iowa arent in there. Miami may never get ranked, Iowa will by conference play whether its warranted or not. Im happy with where we are, makes the climb tbat much sweeter.

MSU is lower than I expected.

Wisconsin is higher than I expected, but I don't mind.

North Carolina makes me laugh. They went 7-5 and finished 5th in the division. #23.

Miami went 9-4, finished 2nd in the division and beat UNC in Chapel Hill. Unranked.
