NUance
Meechicken is about to enter a world of financial hurt when they fire Hoke. LINK Michigan will have to pay Brady Hoke a $2M buyout. Michigan previously paid San Diego State $1M to buy out Hoke's previous contract. Michigan will have to pay OC Doug Nussmeier an $830k buyout. When Michigan hired Rich Rod they paid West Virginia $4M to buy out Rich Rod's contract there. Then three years later they paid Rich Rod a $2.5M buyout. This is almost as screwed up as the financial mess Colorado is in. Almost. Quote Link to comment
GSG
I think Michigan has the $$$ to do that though, don't they? Quote Link to comment
QMany
I don't think Michigan will flinch at those numbers. Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
I'm betting Nussmeier will be the next HC there so that buyout won't happen Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
If it's not Nussmeier and they don't give Bronco Mendenhall a long look, they are dumber than they already seem Quote Link to comment
NUance
I'm betting Nussmeier will be the next HC there so that buyout won't happen  I was thinking the same thing. Some irony though. Lack of offense is largely what's getting Hoke fired. 1 Quote Link to comment

This is almost as screwed up as the financial mess Colorado is in. Almost. Slight difference in the financial backing between Michigan and Colorado. If the season does go down to something like 2-3 wins, booster money will not be lacking to remove whomever in the athletic department needs to be fired. The AD may not survive this either. Shades of Nebraska circa 2007. Only a much worse offense. Quote Link to comment
MichiganMan
David Brandon about to get fired!!!! he was not at the press conference today.
