He is almost assuredly out of SanFran and his personality would seem to fit better in college where he has total control. Biggest issue with professional coaches going to college is timing. The NFL season lasts four more weeks and that's getting pretty late to get a college staff together and finish up recruiting before NSD. Doesn't sound too likely at this point but you never know.
