Fat Tire
When was the last time Nebraska had this many position battles across the board coming into a season? WR and RB battles will be insane this year! Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
I am looking forward very much to the runningback position battle... Quote Link to comment
Redman
RB, it has been a decade (give or take a few years). WR, I do not think thay have had this great of a problem in my lifetime. OOOOOHH, great problems to have. I think this will be a fun season to watch. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
RB and WR are gonna be great battles to watch, but heck, what about the battle for the linebacker spots? Octavien, Ruud, McKeon, Dillard, Bradley, Allen, Brandenburg. Gonna be nuts. Quote Link to comment
Fat Tire
Yah, there are going to be battles all over the place, OL is another spot!! Quote Link to comment
BigRedDallasTexan
Can't forget safety and DT. Quote Link to comment
pigsonthewing
When was the last time Nebraska had this many position battles across the board coming into a season? WR and RB battles will be insane this year! Before Frank Solich was the coach thats for sure. Quote Link to comment
husker rob
Dont forget about Beck. I am sure that Zac will be the starter but Beck is going to be trying to take the starting position away from him. Â I see Beck playing some in every game and not just in mop up duty. Quote Link to comment
chuckd
Ah, depth, it's a great thing to finally have again Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
Practices could get pretty intense this spring and during fall camp. It will only make them all better football players. Having to look over your shoulder will help push the starters to not make many mistakes. Quote Link to comment
husker rob
Zac is going to have hugh numbers next year because of the experience in the recieving corps (how many dropped passes did NU have last year) and with the better play on the offensive line. As we have seen if given the time Zac can put the ball right were it needs to be. Hopefully in alot of the games he will come out after the third quarter and Beck will get in some quality reps to get him prepared to start in 07. We dont need another inexperienced QB coming in to start like we did after Crouch and Lord each left. Quote Link to comment

Well if Taylor starts the year as he finished last years, and at least plays consistent, you are looking at a possible all Big12 selection... Quote Link to comment

BigRedDallasTexan
I'm having a tough time thinking of a QB in the Big 12 who is going to be better than ZT next year. Bomar is the only one who comes to mind or possibly whoever Tech throws in there. But i really think Zac should be the best QB in the conference next year. Quote Link to comment
