BYU Fan has been flapping his gums about how Koroma is going to dominate Maliek Collins this game. They've also been saying that, if Koroma doesn't play, they have no chance of winning.

 

Koroma was the guy at the very beginning of the fight who pushed, or got pushed, or did something, and from there it all started. He was the guy hit on the head with the helmet, then buried under an avalanche of Memphis players.

Bronco took back the defense and the DC was demoted to DB coach. Bronson has been moved back to DE. He's a talent but he's best suited to play DE in 4-3 IMO. So he's still a bit of a square being forced into round hole.

I don't know about that. TA was thrown into the fire when T Magic got injured and he has been chugging along ever since. TA knows about adversity, and he has been making it work. His last game vs. USC was actually pretty good. I think he will be even better this year. I really think the new schemes and coaching staff will be a benefit instead of a hurdle. We shall see come game time how this plays out.

How can it possibly be a dead horse if the ramifications of the incident are currently playing out? Because you find it uncomfortable doesn't mean it's a dead conversation. It's current and topical. If you don't want to talk about it, don't. But don't tell us we can't.

There have been at least two tweets seen nationally about his mistakes I think that scrutiny is punishment enough. It wouldn't be fair to inflict more on him, that won't teach anything.

TA has struggled in an offense tailored to his strengths the last two years, and has beat a handful of teams better or as good as BYU will be. That won't mean anything either way Saturday, more than likely. I see this game being back and forth for 2.5 quarters, with Nebraska's depth and talent being too much to handle throughout the entire ball game, winning by 14-17.

I agree that in time the new schemes and staff will be a benefit. But there will be growing pains initially. I think most QBs make their greatest leaps between their sophomore and junior seasons. So it is natural to see some progression out of TA that just comes from maturation, but he won't have that familiarity of system for a few games at least.

I too think it won't come close to reaching the O/U. That's easy money IMO. BYU historically has played low scoring openers under Bronco.
