BigRedBuster
And....as long as it's on one of your guys....it can all be justified. One has to take care of one's own, it's the way of the world. God knows the corporatists do. I would add a caveat that if Wall St. ceases buying off politicans, I'm ok with unions not contributing to politicians. They should take bribery completely out of the political system. Then don't complain when the other side does the same thing. I'm with you...I wish the money was taken out of politics. I'll complain, and fight back, actually. Like I said, it's a class war.. Wait a minute.... I have been told by liberals on here many times that class warfare is a myth. Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Iowans likey "socialist": Do you have a link to that? And, your comment is pretty misleading. The poll was of 602 Democratic caucus goers. Not a poll of all Iowans. Caucus goers are real important about now. I'll get back to you on the link. Here's another: http://www.thefederalistpapers.org/us/shocking-poll-more-iowa-dems-call-themselves-socialists-than-capitalists Yes....but your comment implied it was based on all Iowans. That just isn't the case. And, your second graph contradicts your first graph. Link to comment

The graph and poll are saying different things. 65% of IA caucusers are ok with a "socialist" prez and 43% think of themselves as "socialists". That means there are 22% who don't think of themselves as "socialists" that are ok with a "socialist" prez. Where's the contradiction? Link to comment

B.B. Hemingway
I wish Bernie was younger and more attractive. I like him and I don't like Hillary but I'm concerned about his ability to win the election. I hear this a lot, mostly from the Clinton camp, but I don't understand how the argument actually works. He polls better against the Republican candidates than Hilary does. If he went up against Trump, he'd completely decimate the guy. I'm not a Trump "guy" by any means, but you are gravely underestimating him if you actually believe this. Trump comes off as dubious, and out of control, but without a doubt the man is incredibly intelligent. He's also supremely confident in what he says, and I have long thought that his decisions have been more calculated throughout the campaign then he'll ever get credit for. Link to comment
