Nonfiction account of a Texas cattle baron trying to drive out Swedish settlers in Nebraska so he could establish a northern cattle empire. Complete with gunfights and a lynching. I AM FOOT FOOT Posted March 23, 2016 Share Posted March 23, 2016 (edited) good stuff! if your a history buff with some time to spare look up Liver Eating Johnson ,this is who the movie Jerimiah Johnson is based on. dude was a bad ass. another one is the Mad Trapper Albert Johnson in Canada.theres a lengthy replay of a radio broadcast/interviews with some of the Canadian Mounties who were involved in the manhunt for the trapper on youtube. neither is Nebraska related but good reads.
