We can certainly have a sweet ride in a tricked out combine, but...

So I have been pondering this for a while. Nebraska should surround the out edges of the sideline with stocks of corn. Much like Sanford stadium in Georgia does with hedges. What do you all think?

Any sort of shrubbery only looks good with natural grass playing surfaces, looks too forced otherwise.

First, it's 'corn stalk,' not corn stock, unless you'd like to fill the stadium with cash profits from the harvest (that's a better idea.) Second, corn stalks are usually around 7-8 feet tall. If you sat in the lower level you wouldn't see a thing, or they would just look ugly as hell depending on the time of year.

Bwahaha! Oh sure, you jest. But I've long thought that we need our own version of the Sooner Schooner: Ours would be a red mini-combine that would race around the field at halftime and timeouts. How cool would THAT be?

Half the people here hate Lil Red but yet some of you want corn on the side lines??? Isn't lil Red enough? We already get mocked for bubble boy. Hey I know, lets pass out pieces of straw before the game so we can put those in our mouths when the camera pans the crowd.
