I love watching the olympics simply because it's (for the most part) completely different sports than we usually get to see and the athletes are amazing. However, to me honest, other than the lighting of the torch, the opening and closing ceremonies have to be the worst parts of all the TV coverage. We tuned in for about 5 minutes last night and that's just insanely unwatchable. Quote Link to comment

I guess I kind of like the history part of them - but could do without quite so much of the fluff - but I'm kind of a history buff so.... Quote Link to comment
