huskerguy
I saw Dailey went 8-15 for 65 yards at UNC's spring game but was he the starter for it? In UNC's spring game photo album they were almost all him and another wide reciever (#9) I hope he does well Quote Link to comment
chuckd
It's between him and a RS Freshman for the starting job. I really don't care what he does, no ill will, but he doesn't play for my team anymore, so I could really care less. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
I hope that Dailey does really well. I thought that he was a classy guy that just got put into a tough situation at Nebraska. He will have his hands full in the ACC but I think that he can handle it. Quote Link to comment

CoachKevin
Dailey was the #1 going in to Spring Practice. Quote Link to comment
dbetz23
I wish him well. Even if he gets the starting job, it will just be as tough as it was in Nebraska, as he is playing in the ACC. Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
Wish him the best of luck. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
He has to work on his mechanics a little and not has as many problems throwing the ball as he did at Nebraska. Quote Link to comment
Foppa
I really don't care what he does, no ill will, but he doesn't play for my team anymore, so I could really care less. agreed. Shouldn't this be in Other Sports? The only thing I was curious about this is the type of offense UNC runs. That would make a difference for him, I would think. Quote Link to comment
CoachKevin
UNC is running the West Coast from what I understand. Dailey said that the differance between UNC and Nebraska is that the Coaches at UNC are teaching more specific details. He hit some Big pass plays in the Spring game that were called back for holding calls. The UNC spring game was played in the rain. So they didn't air it out as much. Right now he holds a slight edge for the starting spot. But they said that both QB's will compete for the starting spot in to August. Quote Link to comment
Spartness
Didn't he throw three interceptions in the spring game? If that is true, he still has a long ways to go. I wish him luck and hope he find success. Quote Link to comment
chuckd
I don't know about the INT's but I know he fumbled a snap from center that was returned for a TD. One thing is for sure, he's going to have to learn to take care of the ball better then he has in the past. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Dailey didn't have any INTs listed in his official line: Dailey 8-15-0-65 It was his decision to leave. You have to wonder with how thin NU is at QB right now how Dailey would fit into the mix had he stayed. But since he did leave he can join Dukes and Goodman for a little cryfest known as the North Carolina chapter of discarded Nebraska Quarterbacks. Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
He won't make it as the starter for the whole season IMO. It seems like the RS is pretty good. And we all know how much he can turn the ball over to the defense on a consistent basis. Quote Link to comment
Benard
He has to work on his mechanics a little and not has as many problems throwing the ball as he did at Nebraska. He got worse under Callahan and Norvell. It depends on UNC's offense and if he's over the mind part of it that callahan put on him. Quote Link to comment
