It doesn't surprise me that HBO is getting out. Quote Link to comment

Sadly for Bud, fights like these will be the norm for a long time. The true welterweight superfight, Crawford/Spence, probably doesn’t see the light during these fighters elite time(the next two years). With Bud’s contract with Abrum and ESPN he could easily be an afterthought for the other top fighters in the class who are signed with promoters who are tied to SHOWTIME. Those guys will match up so much easier with each other due to this. Add in the fact that Abrum burned some bridges with some of these promotion groups(I know Spence’s group is one with Al Haymon) won’t help matters. Now add in the fact the Mikey Garcia, unified and undefeated stud at lightweight wants to fight Spence. He’s gonna fight Richard Commey next, but I think this fight happens far before Crawford gets his shot at Spence. The other odd twist that could effect this Spence/Crawford thing is Vasyl Lomachenko. Loma will destroy his next match in December to unify his half of the lightweight world and he wants Garcia. Garcia once was a Top Rank/ESPN guy. A bitter release from them took two years, but odds are that this fight has a better(yet far fetched) chance of happening before Spence and Crawford have a go at it. it is sad the politics that screw fans of seeing great fights. And GGG still win the fight 1 Quote Link to comment

And GGG still win the fight 6 This has been the case since the 90's. All the pay-per-view s#!t and the different governing bodies deciding who is, and who isn't worthy of a title shot has really screwed the sport, and the fans out of the best fights. PaulCrewe
Bump this with a couple hours until the fight tonight. plenty of drama the last few days between the two camps. Probably was better drama than the actual bout tonight. Bud needs a big fight. Can see this playing out like The Gambia fight with a a round or two quicker finish or like the Postal fight in which Postal saw he couldn’t touch Crawford so danced around all night avoiding the KO Quote Link to comment
4skers89
I didn't even see the first knockdown in the undercard. Hands are so damn fast with these little guys. Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
Bud starting to get going in the third. 4th round could have evened the score at 2 rounds apiece after a nice body shot caught Crawford Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
Good round 6 for Crawford. Multiple punch combos are becoming frequent now Quote Link to comment
Omaha-Husker
Bud in control, but this is his best competition yet. Quote Link to comment
