Assessing the talent: Made 1st team all-state with 58 tackles, 14 stops behind the line, 10 sacks and three forced fumbles. One of the best in the country. Just look at the list of teams that have offered.

Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 10% NU has just as good a chace as any right now. Phil Elmassian is recruiting him.

I think that we need to get him just for his namesake alone. Everything else that he brings to the table/field would just be a bonus.

I agree, that would be great to see that name on the back of a jersey again.

Why, there has never been a Jason Peters at NU before?

Jason Peter on the other hand was quite the player in the mid 90's.

Maybe...........but there is still hope........

Peters said of the Nebraska coaching staff, "I have a great deal of respect for their coaches. They told me during season that they would back off so that I could prepare for each game, but they told me once my season was over they would start recruiting me hard again and they held true to that. That was one of the characteristics I was looking for in a school that made them a must visit for me."

I just have this funny feeling that Bo Peep will have some choice words about us when he visits LSU!
