Yeah all they want to talk about is the last 6 years.

Thats fine I tell them now lets talk about the last

100 years. They shut up pretty quick.

Dunno for sure, but the players playing CFB in 2006 weren't alive all of the past 100 years!

 

Going back six years is pretty fair, at least it's THIS millenium. The players probably haven't been there that long either. Most haven't been in college four years yet.

 

Maybe "they" shut up pretty quick cuz history bores them.

 

I could see comparing the past few seasons.... that may at least fall within the attention span of the average fan. The "what have ya done for me lately" way of thinking.

 

A plus would be to try to concentrate on THIS season, not the last 100 of 'em.

My point is if you want to talk in the past then where is the cut off line.

The players were not there of course but the FANS were. And the fans

can talk as far back as they remember. So me being a husker fan for the

past 30 odd years remembers beating the sh#t out of KSU and ISU!!!!

Go back to the beginning. U.S. history doesn't start just 80 or 100 years ago. But we all know about the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. We don't just start talking about the U.S. history in the past couple of years when we were alive to remember it. We all may not be the most knowledgable fans about that era but we all recognize it and pay tribute to it.

 

K State fans are a lot like people that don't recognize the Concentration Camps, those people weren't alive to see it so they don't believe it happened.

My point is if you want to talk in the past then where is the cut off line.

The players were not there of course but the FANS were. And the fans

Except in our dreams, we fans don't play the games. The college kids do. History is just another class they try to skip. Memories of glory past are unfortunately just that. Memories. Cally has won seven conference games since his arrival. Nu hasn't exactly set the world on fire.

 

However, that will change, it may not be this year.

 

JMO... I don't forsee a B12 championship win this year, but soon. Except for the ISU game, I'll be cheering for the skers as usual!!
