BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Awesome. Now if he can return to that Elite 11 form.... Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
If he was Elite #11 why did he go JUCO? Also if he's a Soph. slap a redshirt on him and let Ganz take care of the mop up duty and have a exciting QB battle next year Quote Link to comment
GSG
It says he went to Oregon State then to JUCO. Anybody have/seen film on him?? Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
So can we redshirt him or not? Quote Link to comment
GSG
I don't think so. Says he redshirted at Oregon St his first year. I'm not sure what the rules are, but it doesn't look good for that. Quote Link to comment
Bring Out The Gimp
Also if he's a Soph. slap a redshirt on him and let Ganz take care of the mop up duty and have a exciting QB battle next year I think he has 3 to play 3 so not sure if red shirt is an option. Â I'm pretty excited about this guy...especially since he is walking on, there really is no risk. Quote Link to comment
husker rob
this is good news lets hope it all pans out with the test and completeing his juco work so he gets cleared right away Quote Link to comment
pigsonthewing
Shawn Watson has really helped this staff. whoever says he wasnt pulling his weight is terribly wrong. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
Shawn Watson has really helped this staff. whoever says he wasnt pulling his weight is terribly wrong. Never heard anyone say that before. If someone did, they are a fool. I didn't realize this kid is going to WALK ON. Wow, what a break. Moschetti is acclimating him to the offensive terminology as we speak. The good lord doesn't close a door without opening a window. Quote Link to comment
GSG
Sounds like this window is the size of city bus. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
He sounds like he's another Cali "diamond in the rough" QB. Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
This is awesome. We have been talking on this board if we could get a qb now, and now we do. Callahan might be one of the best coaches at finding "random" talent across the country to play for the Huskers. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Doesn't look like he can redshirt since he already took one at Oregon State. Don't believe he can try for a medical hardship with his broken thumb since that was the fifth game of the season. Anyhow he is coming here to compete. Unlike a little ******* former fourth stringer. Silent Commit
Here's Brian's info from Rivals. I believe that it is old info from when he was being recruited out of high school (but I'm not sure about that). I only included it to show that he's put on some weight (20 lbs) and that his 40 time was pretty decent. Vertical is pretty impressive, too. Â Ht: 6-foot-2 Wt: 190 lbs 40: 4.62 Bench max: 235 pounds Squat max: 325 pounds Vertical: 32 inches Class: 2004 (High School) Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
This is nice. It's great we can rebound so fast from Beck and that situation. Quote Link to comment
