2016 NFL Playoffs

Is our streak of Huskers in the Super Bowl still in tact? Seems like it went by the wayside last year.....

Here are the options for this year:

Here's a look at how other former Huskers on NFL playoff rosters performed during the regular season:

DE Jared Crick, Houston Texans: Started all 16 games and played the second most snaps among Houston's defensive linemen behind JJ Watt. Crick's 48 combined tackles were also No. 2 among the Texans' D-linemen behind Watt. Crick had a pair of sacks this season.

RB Rex Burkhead, Cincinnati Bengals: Played in all 16 games, mostly on special teams. His biggest impact on offense came in the passing game with 10 catches (15 targets) for 94 yards and a touchdown. Ran four times for four yards.

LB Trevor Roach, Cincinnati Bengals: Signed from the practice squad Jan. 4 after Emmanuel Lamur was placed on injured reserve. An undrafted free agent, Roach will be active for the first time in the Bengals' playoff opener.

OG Jeremiah Sirles, Minnesota Vikings: Sirles was traded to the Vikings from San Diego for a sixth-round pick before the season. Sirles is listed as the backup right tackle on the Vikings' depth chart, but he has not played a snap this season.

TE Niles Paul, Washington Redskins: On injured reserve after fracturing his ankle during the preseason.

LB Eric Martin, New England Patriots: Waived and added to injured reserve in December with a concussion after playing in four games during the regular season.

DB Mohammed Seisay, Seattle Seahawks: Acquired by Seattle in a trade with Detroit but went on injured reserve with a shoulder injury suffered in the fourth quarter of the Seahawks' final preseason game.

Typical. It must be nice to be the Steelers.

The Bengals have some idiots on their team but I find it funny that Joey Poter was on the field to talk crap. I love the how the Steelers think they are above all the dirty crap but are full of dirty players (and some coaches) like the Bengals.
