He stepped down when Kyle Shanahan took over in San Fransisco. Wealth of experience coaching running backs. Quote Link to comment
drfish
All pro game, so no recruiting, but my understanding was that he has a good rep. Would he want to come back to the college game? Would he want to leave the coast? Just wonder. Quote Link to comment
NM11046
Other than Brown getting moved along with a change in staff - was there something that happened? Quote Link to comment

This is a big part of why he isn't wanted back. He made some poor choices in his last go-round at Nebraska. Coach's anti-gay comments an 'embarrassment' but not fireable offense Specifically, citing Memorial Stadium as his address while giving these comments was a bonehead move. It's one thing to be discriminatory in defense of your faith. It's another thing entirely to drag your employer into it for no good reason. 5 Quote Link to comment

Have a little info on this, but I suppose you never say never. If you want the info, you can PM. If you don't care, that's fine too. This guy totally has the info. 1 Quote Link to comment
