I doubt we will see this but I think it would be awesome to make the spring game the spring league championship. Top 2 teams get to draft the players from the 3rd team and winner takes all for the spring league. Could be the start of fun tradition but it may not be feasible to do something like that
Jurgens is going to end up being a far better pro player than he ever was in college. He was learning on the fly how to be a center his whole college career and while he did get the hang of it towards the end its clear his time with Jason Kelce has brought his game to a completely different level. He will be a really good one for years to come.
Never understood the bowls will mean nothing argument. When did they mean anything to begin with? Exhibition games to put on during the holidays when you are home all day with family
It's just crazy to think about the power shift that could be taking place coach wise. Saban retires, Smart and Harbaugh go NFL all of the sudden there is a vacuum as far as top coach in the country goes.
Alabama is in for a down era I think. SEC will have more competition, and without Saban the Tide just don't strike the fear in opponents. LSU, Ole Miss, Texas and Oklahoma will look to fill the void left by Saban.
15-0 national champions rolling every team by 3 scores or more while DR wins the Heisman. Matt Rhule begins his path to eclipsing Osbornes greatness and is soon recognized as the greatest coach of all time and a Husker legend. Raiola wins 3 Heismans and proceeds to get drafted 1st overall by the Chicago Bears where he restores that franchise to former glory as well winning 4 super bowls in his HOF career. Seems reasonable to me
