teachercd
Busch beer is my beer of choice for the pool when you are going to be drinking from 11am until 4pm, getting fried by the sun, staring at girls, making small talk. You can't go wrong with that cheap stuff! Quote Link to comment
308_Husker
Carlfense, good call on the Crescent Moon. That place is absolutely great. It might be my favorite bar in Omaha (although I've only been to a handful in Omaha). I would have to say my top beer right now is Leinenkugels Summer Shandy. If I want to drink out of the tap at bars, it's usually Blue Moon, or a Boulevard. Quote Link to comment

GM_Tood
I was just reading the reviews on this beer on BeerAdvocate.com. One guy said it has a sour cherry/wine taste? Not sure where that guy is getting the sour..but it does have a hint of sweetness to it (More so in the smell). I'll throw out another one I like to sip on every now and then: Uerige Doppelsticke from Beertopia here in Omaha. Below is a review of the beer that pretty much sums up my thoughts- It pours a deep chestnut-brown hue with seeming purplish tinges, and is capped with a filmy khaki head. It really looks unusual (nice), especially the color. The nose is very spicy, lending notes of black peppercorn, spruce and juniper, mango sap and tannin, generally musty-earthy hops and a hint of solventy booze. Tastes of rich barley malt and spicy dark fruit, intensely flavored with black peppercorn, amchur, sumac and juniper berry. One of the craziest brews I've had. 1 Quote Link to comment
teachercd
Like Landshark. I am not a huge fan of really dark beers, sometimes they are to bitter for my taste. Then again I like about 5 spoons of sugar and half a glass of milk in my coffee. So what do I know? Quote Link to comment

Many stouts and porters have flavor profiles similar to coffee. I love dark beers and I drink about a pot of coffee every day. Actually . . . the only beer style that I usually avoid are IPAs. I only have them rarely . . . generally on the hottest days in the summer. I guess I just prefer malt and bitterness to oily hoppy-ness. Quote Link to comment

The only IPA I've actually enjoyed came from a brewery in Albuquerque. It kinda had a marijuana taste to it It's called the Marble Brewery if any of y'all are ever in ABQ. Quote Link to comment

Ratt Mhule
You're crazy man. I like you, but you're crazy. Made me at that one GSG. Good ole Will Ferrell. I agree with every beer aspeedlin posted. I drink them all and love them. Bud Light is my fav. domestic. 312 I had in Chicago and was really good. Blue Moon is my fav. beer to drink at a restaurant. I just had Summer Shandy a few weeks ago and might have become my favorite beer. I decided last night while I was out to dinner at Old Chicago that Im going to do their World Beer Tour, so I'll post any good beers I have while doing that for everyone. It might take me more than a year to complete, however, so bear with me. Quote Link to comment
