Based on the profile pics on all the recruiting sites the picture above looks like a REALLY slimmed down version. Are we sure this is the same kid?

How big is the kid standing next to him? Edit: Just looked him up - Taryn Chistion is listed at 6'2 - 190 lbs.

This is a pretty bold prediction. He'll be behind 5 senior or junior DTs in his second year with Curry, Williams, Valentine, Collins & Maurice. Keep in mind that DiNardo also has Freedom pegged as a Tackle.

Next years class will be interesting with how few scholarships look to be available. The staff might have to be really picky with how they accept commits. Just based on the senior class only we only have 11-12 guys, really small graduating class. I thought I remembered early on in this recruiting cycle it was looking like we were going to take fewer than 20, and now we're looking at 25-26. Was I misremembering that or am I overly optimistic we'll be able to sign a bunch of quality kids next year. Could be, we had 19 seniors this year with schollies and had a bunch open up from players leaving. I don't think we want to hope for that kind of turnover and non-contributors leaving every year though.

How do you figure 3 openings left? 25 per year is the max but we have to stay under 85 as well. Just have to be under 85 by the time fall camp comes around...so guys possibly leaving (Guy, Afalava, Moss, TobiO, etc), been mentioned that AWilliams and Burtch were possibly put on 1 semester schollys for now, and some might not make it to campus like Harrison (MLB) and Stewart (reported possibly academic problems). Plus I believe we could have possibly put Keels, Cockrell and maybe Darlington into last years since they enrolled early. It doesn't matter where you put Keels, Cockrell and Darlington, they can all go onto last year's count but they still have to be under 85. Accounting for all of the guys leaving that you mentioned above, with the Williams and Burtch scholarships and all of the guys that have verbally committed we have 1 spot left on the 85. Which is why I mentioned "If they take 2 more and Harrison ends up coming then the semester scholarship makes sense for Williams." Based on the numbers I'm coming up with there is only one scholarship left. If they take 2 more and Harrison ends up coming then the semester scholarship makes sense for Williams. Seems like there are always one or two that don't end up qualifying for one reason or another so it will work itself out in the end.
