I think getting the first one will get something going. I optimistically said 5. Iowa being the only one I felt like was a stretch, but at that point if win 4 out of the previous 5 who knows with the Hawkeyes.

Thanks for posting that. while 28 seems low I don't foresee a lot of the teams ahead of us in that 5 win category. Many of those schools are already bowl eligible or close. Just a thought I know we need our 1st W and I'm hoping it comes this weekend!

If we win 5 games would there be a chance of a Bowl Game based on Graduation Rate? I think with improvement being shown it would be a case where I like the idea of another 10-15 practices for this group.

No the loophole in the new rule is that they can leave now and this year counts as the red shirt or sitting out year.

I know at one time Some conferences (ACC) had a no transfer within the Conference rule. I'm not sure if that still applies, but that would cut this list in half.

Some excellent points. I think CFB Coaches are going to have to push the play four and Red Shirt within recruiting. That may be a way to appease the talent as well as fan bases. Look at the future concept.

So How do we create Depth at that position? If we recruit someone with Stars the other guy Transfers... This is crazy... This has been created by the new rules on Red Shirts and Grad Transfers..

With our lack of Depth at this position do you think a Kelly Bryant or Jalen Hurts might look into a move to the Mid-West?

1. I agree there's a hype factor that doesn't translate to a the overall ability as well as a youth factor 2 While. I think in the last couple of years the best highers for FBS Programs have been Brohm and Frost.. I think that this statement is false, Frost in year two with a program was light years ahead of Brohm in year 2.. 3. I think the learning curve & depth have shown our flaws, but that's going to happen when you open yourself up to the Coaching Carousel. Having said all that.. Frost and his staff are the right guys and I'm looking forward to seeing all the things that are ahead.. I think we beat Purdue and winning cures many things! GBR!!!

As frustrating as it was to lose... 1. It would have been a ton worse with last years group coaching.. 2. A Non Scholly QB turns the ball over.. Shocking.. He Still wasn't terrible there's a reason he's not on scholarship 3. Mis-alignments by LB's were costly.. Still enjoy a Defense flying around 4. Special Teams Ouch. They flipped the field so much in the punting game. 5. Clean up the penalties which I think all are fixable and the results will come.

The Initial hit looks fine. It's the extra-curricular activity after the play that is the issue.

Long Snapping is a skill that can be learned and at his size and strength there's a chance of getting on the field.

He deserved more time unless some of these rumors are true. You can say what you want about his record at Ohio, but they have gone to levels they had never seen before he took over.
