Rumorville isn't some romper room where you come to act like an asshat. It's simply a place to air rumors that you've heard and want to check the veracity of. I have no idea about THAT, but I do know that, after teaching all day long, I'm ready for adult thoughts and I was under the impression that I might be able to get that here. If you don't like what your reading, move on. Its not that hard. Its the Back arrow on the top of your screen. This is a forum, no different than any other one on internet. People come here to give their opinions, and they are either agreed upon or countered by others opinions. Wow, another immature remark. I never said there was anything wrong with people giving their opinions. They can just be a little more mature about the way they give it. I understand that, but it seriously sounds like a bunch of middle schoolers. I would think that I would at least be able to read smarter, more mature thoughts. I am wrong a lot though, so it's ok that I am wrong about this too.

I teach high school and I taught middle school for many years. This thread is beginning to look like a conversation that I would have heard from a bunch of middle schoolers! It turned in a hurry and some of you have helped it get to a bad place even faster. Grow up and realize that Pelini is NOT going anywhere for the time being and he has been getting better. Like him or not, he's our coach. I, for one, am going to support him as much as I can and continue to be a fan whether we win or lose.

Here's a crazy scenario: Notre Dame loses to USC and Florida State beats Florida. Georgia beats Alabama in the SEC championship, and Oregon wins out. It could then be Georgia vs Oregon in the big dance! This season is far from over and anything can happen. If Florida State doesn't beat Florida, then we could be seeing another all SEC championship if Notre Dame loses.

I think Ohio State is going to win too, but I don't think it's going to be by that much. I see them winning by 7 or 10. But, no offense Bucky, I hope I'm wrong. I can't stand Urban so I hope Wisconsin wins this one.

If you don't like the announcers, just do what I usually do: Turn the TV on mute and turn on the radio and listen to the announcers that are pretty much pro Nebraska. There is sometimes a little bit of a time delay on things, but at least you don't have to listen to idiots that don't know what they are talking about for the most part. But then, we wouldn't have threads like this because some people wouldn't have anything to complain about

Bingo. All I want for Christmas is an SEC-free championship game. Amen to that one!

I'm sure that the history books of college football would have to re-write a ton of pages if you talked about games that teams didn't "deserve" to win. It's all part of the game. You take the good with the bad and I will definitely take this win, even if some people want to talk about controversial calls.

He is definitely due for a big day. I feel bad for him because of the year he is having, especially as dominant as he was last year. I hope you are right on this one!

What about 1 point wins over teams you should beat by 30 and at least two 30 point losses a year? That's where we are at now. Your statement is a far off land from reality. Winning 12 games by one point would mean we are able to win games against tough opponents in primetime when it counts. I would take that in a heartbeat. However, we routinely get dump trucked in those spots while leaving a giant sh!t stain on the field. What makes you think that we should have beat Northwestern by 30? Northwestern is a decent team with a pretty good offense. We were playing at their house, even though it appeared that there were way more Husker fans there. I agree that we should have won by more than just one, but turnovers killed us. There's no way that we should have won by 30.

And you know this how? You must attend practice. I agree, I think that we do have talent on defense. Some of our talented athletes are freshman this year, but they should still be seeing the field a little bit to see what they are capable of.

I support T-Mart, and even though his turnovers didn't help, I would definitely say that defense lost us this game. But we can't take anything away from Braxton, he is an exceptional athlete.

I think it will be a shootout, but if we can cut down on early mistakes like we had in the Wisconsin game, I see us winning. I see a 42-38 type game.

While the TeamJack story is a good one, and we all like the kid and the players' acting as role models, do you have to put pictures in every thread? You might be the only one on this board that feels this way, but I've been wrong before. I don't ever get tired of hearing about TeamJack and what a great role model Rex is for that young man!

I really don't see Wisconsin being able to pull Stanton away from us. LIke it was stated, Wisconsin seems like they are all about bringing in a transfer or maybe even a Juco kid that only has two years left. I don't think I would like to be a freshman coming in thinking that I might not get to start because the coaches are looking for a junior or a senior every year. I feel really good about Stanton staying committed, but maybe I'm just being naive.

I'm not sure I agree with that statement. Papuchis may not be the best DC in the country, but he isn't doing that bad of a job. He has intensity and the has the boys playing. Are they the best they could be, NO. I do think that, given the chance, Papuchis is going to turn into one hell of a DC!
