  2. In what way? The guy has been a great recruiter and the lead recruiter of BS.
  3. Sean Callahan ‏@Sean_Callahan I can confirm Vince Marrow has been offered a job on Mark Stoops staff, but he has not taken it per a source. "Still thinking it over." This would be a huge lose!

  8. This I'm pretty sure that Marrow is on staff now. Last year he was a GA but I think he is the TE coach. False, he is a GA still. http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=100&ATCLID=205214023

  10. A really good interview was just on Sharp & Benning. Not sure if I am allowed to post the link for the podcast?
  11. That Janovich is an absolute beast and crushes people when he is lead blocking! By far the best fullback we have!!
  12. I was there! I was 18 and a senior in high school. My best friend said he was going with a couple of juniors in college, so I went home and told my parents I was going too . Needless to say they didn't love the idea. After hours of explaining to my parents why I so badly needed and wanted to go ( Osborne's last game, we were gonna win the National Championship) they caved and let me go. 5 of us drove 24 hours straight in a Chevy Corsica to get there, won 1000 dollars playing scratch tickets at a truck stop in MO, were about murdered in East St. Louis gas station otherwise made it to Miami unscathed. The night before the game we watched the Michigan game with Tennessee fans who were awesome and not too mention not horrible to look at. They hated Michigan too because Woodson beat out Manning for the Heisman. We went to the Coors Light tailgate party, ended up on ESPN, stole a 50' string of red and white balloons, got them into the stadium and tied them above our seats in the very top row, called my parents from a pay phone to tell them to look for the balloons and if you look closely in the opening first shots of the game you can see them. By half we were setting in the lower bowl at about the 35, 15 rows up. The game was amazing and I will never forget. It was one of the coolest things I have ever experience and still get goosebumps every time Scott Frost gives his speech after the game. After the game we ended up at The Dollhouse in Ft Lauderdale, which at 18 I must admit is was amazing. As minors they made us were t-shirts that said minor on it and we received special attention from the ladies. We ran into some UT fans that were kind enough to buy us some personal dances and closed the place down, only to go back to the hotel grab our stuff and head back because we had a basketball tourney in 2 days. It was a once in a lifetime trip and one that I am proud to say I was at! TO is a great coach and a better man!
  13. FWIW. Nate Clouse said that DK is his sleeper to possibly commit this weekend on 1620 today.
  14. On 1620 the zone today Nate Clouse said he was the sleeper that might commit this weekend. FWIW
  15. The best burger I have found in Lincoln is the Roadhouse across from the state pen. "The Rusty's Roadhouse burger" has a big slab of ham on top of it! Kind of a hole in the wall but it is a great burger!
  16. Saragin Ratings NU 15 Southern Miss 50 UCLA 53 Rice 116 http://sagarin.com/sports/cfsend.htm We don't seem to be comparing apples to apples here benedictbruin! Good luck to you and GBR!!!
  17. Scored 42 in the Championship game of the u19 as a 17 year old. I know it is Bleacher Report but a good article http://bleacherrepor...op-kiwi-recruit
  18. I wished on the program that they would have mentioned too that Johnny had only been playing QB for a year, like Woulard has. It makes what he did all that more impressive. Glad we have this kid liking us and can't wait to see the QB battle in a couple years, should be really exciting.
  19. You Redshirt Tommy, if needed down the road you yank his shirt. Let Brion have the mop up duty, make him happy. I agree with whoever said that Griffith says that Tommy is a future super star. You let him have a year to get comfortable in the system, unless he is needed because he isn't going to unseat Taylor as the QB. Come in and start as a RSoph. or battle Johnny as a Rfr who is also a hell of a get. I don't want to jinx it but Taylor is surprisingly tough, kid has taken some shots that I didn't think he should get back up from! (knocking on wood)
  20. @saunders45, they are going to have 2000-2500 for the first game so she will be able to see them. Still too bad for the rest of the games.
  21. Howard Griffith on Twitter says that T Armstrong has the chance to be a superstar. Quick and elusive.
  22. This was a great get for us! It would be a great couple of days is we find out about Rose as well . Welcome to Husker Nation and GBR!!!!!
  23. This was an great article. It is also amazing the amount of D1 talent that team has and hopefully landing Johnny will be a good stepping stone to future recruits from Santa Margarita. Just like in college football, the talent will continue to come to Santa Margarita if they can continue to win.
  24. Thats 1 out of every 10 times he carries the ball. Thats absolutely awful at any level, freshman or not. Had Rex fumbled at that pace, he would have lost almost 30 fumbles last year (to put it into perspective). That's 30 extra possessions handed to the other team. I was at lunch thanks for bringing this up for me! Freshman yes, and by no means am I bashing Ameer, was just stating a fact and giving my opinion that I really think Heard is over looked and may surprise some people this year! Wrong or right I just want to win some games. GBR!
