Whatever it would take to be at the level other countries are at with gun violence.

If someone commits murder, they go to prison for a long time. People who commit these types of murders almost always die at the scene. How do we increase the punishment?

Now that’s something we can agree on.

Then why do so many other countries have so many fewer violent people?

Really....hmmmm....not me. There clearly is a talent difference between Nebraska and OSU. I think a physically less talented player can look like they have less effort, when in fact, they are giving their all but just getting beat.

I think we agree more than disagree in this discussion. Then, you go and say something like this. My problem with this statement is that we don’t know how either one is going to be on the field. what I think more accurately that we need is more like Greene in our recruiting classes....then they need to live up to their ratings once here. We also need Snodgrass to develop into a force on the field.

literally, nobody is saying that. Many, including me, have over and over that we need to be recruiting higher rated players And developing them into major contributors. For too long, our best recruits don’t pan out. However, there will always be 3* players Contributing and starting for Nebraska. Being a .8600 - .8800 recruit doesn’t mean they are some non-athletic schmuck.

Wha???? Now we are proclaiming that solid 3 star recruits aren’t good enough for us???? So, half to 2/3s of our recruiting classes should just be relegated to special teams?

OSU doesn’t factor in since that’s where he was. It sounds like OU and LSU were not settled at all with what they thought could be decent QBs. like has been pointed out, Huskers had just signed 2AM and recruiting Mccaffery hard and probably getting him. Plus, we had Gebbia. I can see why others pursued him more than us.

One thing....I have no clue what LSU has for a QB when they went after Burrow. They may not have had a QB that the staff was confident in.

Don’t disagree with that unless the player doesn’t fit what the coaches are looking for.....or there is no room.

First off, I very seldom feel sorry for a player that gets to this level and doesn't see the field or gets passed up by a player that is better. These guys have had athletic careers millions of kids could only dream of and they’re getting their college payed for. So, if there is someone better than Adrian and gives us a better chance of winning, not just now but long term, then he should be playing. That said, I think there is one hell of a lot more going on here than just, Adrian sucked. O line, receivers, injury, center snaps....etc. He didn’t play well, but all of those things play into it. It’s going to be very interesting to see how this plays out going into next year. All of those factors I listed very well could have been address and will be improved for next year. So, now let the competition play out. We have three QBs that won’t be concerned about redshirt/no redshirt. Let the best man play. one thing I’m sure of though. Some fans will still want the backup. And, Burrow would have won us some games this year, but we wouldn’t have gone undefeated.
