This part of your post makes zero sense to me. There are rivalries all over sports that don't match this metric and they are believed to be some of the biggest rivalries in sports. In fact, if this is the requirement, all rivalries would be one sided.

I'm very concerned about him not being available for this game....and, disappointed we don't have someone who seems to be a serviceable replacement.

I think the key is that we should have much better weather and so Frost and company will have much more of their offense available to them. Against MSU, everyone and their dog knew they didn't have to defend much past the line of scrimmage. That won't be the case on Friday.

There were empty seats all over the place on Saturday. I guess all of those people should be banned from games for life.

I understand what you are saying, however, the only way my son was able to stay all game was that we were able to bring him extra winter clothes from home. The typical college student is not going to have the winter clothing in Lincoln that I saw older people wearing. I saw kids walking to the game in clothing that I knew there was little chance they were going to last the entire game.

You can have multiple rivals for various reasons. After livinh in iowa for 15 years, Iowa is a rival to me. It’s personal.
