  1. Good win, plenty of issues on defense, but if they limit teams to 3 touchdowns or less each game we'll be fine.
  2. Yeah, they're not sitting Martinez over this. But if things go south in a game, it's nice to know we have decent options.
  3. As long as our offense doesn't turn it over, they will be fine. I am not worried at all about the offense. Our defense is still a sieve.
  4. Gameday guest picker is picking SDSU to upset us. Our pride is so wounded right now.
  5. Go Huskers. The heck with everyone that isn't for us.
  6. I live in St. Louis and have Charter, and yep, all I get is the one channel and the Northwestern game. 'tis crap.
  7. Probably firing, then tarring, then feathering, then hanging, then drawing, then quartering.
  8. As long as Bo just let's it run its course by itself, he'll be fine.
  9. I'd sit Martinez no matter what. Switch RKIII and Tommy (whatever order) at the end of the first, unless one really establishes that they're going to kick butt the rest of the day.
  10. After this week? I would expect Nebraska to roll. But that's why we play the game.
  11. Whatever Bo does is what Bo does. We can't pretend to know deep down what he truly feels. Perhaps he is starting to like it here (or he would've, if jerkbag mcleaker didn't screw that all up). We know he's a very loyal guy to his staff and his players. Perhaps loyalties grow really quickly in some cases for him and really slowly in others. If he desires to go somewhere else, and they want him, then I have no qualms against the man. This is a business, and his family and his' interest is paramount. We may not be "back"...but whatever happens, we can always appreciate what he did in giving us at least some respectability as a program after the Callahan years. Heck, I don't even hold anything against Callahan. They're all just people like us. For now, let us see how this season goes. Perhaps Bo will lead us to some glory and stay to take us on a great run of many years of conference titles, big wins, and even a national title here and there. Perhaps the team will fall apart this year, and Bo will be out the door. Perhaps he'll do well enough to get a better offer (in his mind) somewhere else. Let's just enjoy this season as it goes.
  12. I'd be cool with sitting Taylor for this one out of injury concerns. RK3 and TA could definitely manage this one well.
  13. The BobFather would not have been recorded in the first place. And even if he had, the media types would protect Devaney. Because of the many times he drank them under the table, then drove them home and tucked them into their beds. He was a god among Irishmen. Bob would have been the perfect mentor for Bo when it came to working with the media.
  14. Honestly...I kinda miss fiery Bo. Maybe not "getting in trouble because he's so enraged" Bo, but I loved the passion.
  15. I wouldn't consider Bo on the hot seat at all. It's certainly warmer now than it was prior to the Wyoming game and the UCLA game. But it's not at a critical point. He could make it ice-cold by winning out, or winning the Big Ten.
  16. I would like to see, and to a degree expect, that Nebraska should put up around 50 or more points, and hold the Jackrabbits to under 20. Won't placate everyone, including myself, from the UCLA loss, but it'll be more fun to watch.
  17. If you're Perlman... you made the proper call
  18. Agreed one hundred percent. I leave coaching changes up to the university and that alone. This is still a young season, and while it isn't terribly likely, 11-1 in the regular season is still quite possible. Criticism of the coaches is always acceptable, but let's take it easy and not kill this season before it really even starts. Remember, the conference title isn't already owned by Urban Meyer. It won't be easy or likely, but we must press forward. GBR
