    Northwestern maybe, but we could beat them. Yes, Michigan State has a great defense. But their offense is absolutely anemic. We'll beat them. I thought we got over the surprise loss matter last year. So I'll give you Northwestern. But that's in Nebraska, and that's a winnable game.

    Bob Devaney turned Nebraska around pretty damn quickly, though. Just saying, there's two sides to every coin.

    To be fair, still plenty of season left to salvage. I'd take us winning out the rest of this regular season. Not saying it's a certainty, but let's not forget it's not a terrible possibility. Michigan isn't as good as they appear, and who else can really take Nebraska down?

    Our class isn't the problem. You can have the killer instinct in the game as well as being a class act. That's what Nebraska used to be.

    Oh for crap's sake. Admittedly, we aren't what we used to be, but quit with this whole "NEBRASKA IS PURE GARBAGE" crap. There's plenty of valid reasons people would come here for. Tradition (Yes, it still exists), good education, low cost of living, family, etc....

    No blowout losses. Nebraska is back to being competitive in every game it's in. Nebraska finishes the season 12-1, B1G champs, on their way to the Rose Bowl. Taylor Martinez finishes 3rd in the Heisman votes.

    If we just get a couple more D-linemen I have to say I'd be pretty pleased with the recruiting this year.

    I was of the good fortune to play high school ball with Sean. Great guy, he's gonna do some great things at medical school. Very happy for him.

    Under Osborne, I would definitely see this game being instructional. But this is under Pelini. I hope he learns from it, that would be fantastic, we'd be a force then. But I need to see it first.

    If the schedule doesn't change, anything outside of 11-1 is fairly unacceptable, imo.

    I think the consensus is clear. We need to rebuild our O and D lines. We need to emphasize speed in the linebackers. I think Martin's a slight bright spot, but he's going to be leaving, and then what? What of that whole rotational thing we did for a while on O line? Keep guys fresh? Do that until we establish a top O and D line.
