      I bet he throws one early and Seattle goes up until the 3rd quarter or so then Peyton starts to be Peyton and right when the Broncos are driving to take the lead in the 4th Sherman picks one off to seal the game for the seahawks. My prediction on how the game goes

    The Jet Sweep action we ran today was brilliant. Even though we rarely gave it, it froze 2-3 defenders every time. Glad the coaches installed it.

      ^^ I came away very unimpressed with Mich. States defense. They were supposed to shut us down and Ameer was only going to be 40 yards and he ran through them. I think Braxton will eat them up

    I think there's something to be said about a successful football team having an identity. Whether it be Baylor or whether it be Stanford or whether it be Oregon, Wisconsin, Alabama, or Nebraska of old. It's year 6 under Bo, and what exactly is the identity of his team supposed to be? Fumblitis doesn't count.

      I agree we need something were great at offensively. I would say were good at some things. We either need to be a Baylor/Oregon or a Stanford/Bama offense. we can't have a little of everything.

      If Seattle can slow down the Denver passing attack Denver would be in trouble. If Denver tries to shut down a certain part of the Seahawks offense, Seattle can lean on Marshawn Lynch, they could also lean on Russell Wilson. Percy Harvin should be back in a few weeks.

      Seattle always makes at least one mistake that keeps the other team in the game. In Indy they allowed a blocked FG for a TD which would have put them up 17-0 like husker07 said. I would pick Seattle over Denver. Seattle's offense is better than Denver's D. and Seattle's D matches up pretty well.

    With Tommy under center commanding the offense....the Huskers haven't punted the ball. Chew on that a lil bit....

      with TA in the game the offense is very consistent and has moved the ball. at the beginning of the season we punted way too many times

    Anyone re-watching the game...watch Michael Rose 4:28 in 1st...at first I thought he was running the wrong way. but turnsout he was actually making his reads on a pulling guard. Blows up the counter in the back field. First LB I've seen make that read this year.

      Noticed our LB "catch" the RB out of the backfield but watching the NFL the LB attack the RB out of the backfield. Not sure if that's how we play it or it's because they're in the NFL and are able to do it.

    Randy Gregory checks his locker every day before football practice. He has to, of course, but he wouldn't mind seeing an extra garment in there: A Blackshirt. Just two Nebraska defensive linemen — seniors Thad Randle and Jason Ankrah — have them, and Gregory has the same number of tackles (17) as they do combined.-McKewon

      Heard that playing ins't the only way to get one, apparently you also need to be a leader. So maybe the coaches are trying to make Gregory stand up and be a leader as well.

    An interesting nugget from TA's post-SDSU presser: the deep passes were more just the reads on the plays, rather than the playcalls themselves. Are different reads the reason they were absent vs UCLA?

      I would say that I felt confident that TA was going to take us down the field more than I am confident that TMart will. I know it was against SDSU but just felt different when TA was in.

    I think Twitter is the worst thing to happen to college sports. Reading back and forths between players and fans is brutal.
