From what I've see Lee just doesn't have it. When the bullets start flying he's a different QB than what he does with a green jersey on.

I think Riley is saying the right thing here after the game. I don't think you say anything about pulling him ahead of time to the media, you just do it when the time comes. Now whether Riley actually pulls the trigger before it's too late remains to be seen.

They were really tipping their hand yesterday. Would like to see us run more out of spread sets. Oz's big run late in the 3rd was out of a shotgun 3-wide set I believe. The tight formations with walk on WRs makes it too obvious we're going to run and doesn't threaten the defense.

Are we getting some of those guys back this week? Seems like some of them should be ready to return.

I doubt the backups are that much worse. This staff has shown too much loyalty to the starters at other positions as well. Until the starter goes down with injury then we've seen backups look better in some cases. I have no idea what they are doing with Lee. I get that they are probably trying to get him to work through some things but he's been such a liability you have to consider another option. Some guys are gamers and some guys are good practice players, you don't know with some guys until you get them out there in game action.

Would we beat Maryland by 28 on the road? Probably not. Shouldn't be the only requirement but UCF is probably better than we are already.

My biggest question on Frost right now is recruiting. Oregon fans said he wasn't very good at it there. He'd need to assemble an aggressive staff of recruiters as well as good coaches. I think he'd be a quality coach but if he can't bring in the horses he'll end up in a similar place to Pelini.

If we can get a clearly better candidate I think they'll pull the trigger on that option. Though being a clearly better candidate can be subjective.

Really comes down to him making good hires. If he can do that he'd make a good AD. He can have guys below him work on the budget. Making good hires in FB and MBB makes it all go. Make sure the coaches are happy and have what they need to succeed. Have some personality, be able to talk to boosters and media.
